The interior rooms can only be visited as part of a guided tour. Please note: Due to the size of the complex and the number of rooms, it is not possible to visit all rooms of the Beletage in a guided tour.

Anyone who thinks they’ve already seen everything in Ludwigsburg Residential Palace is in for a surprise on this tour: the English-language palace tour reveals a new facet of the Baroque residence. It leads through the servants’ quarters, the officials’ corridor, and the cellars — and thus through the everyday world of the palace staff. Their lives were marked by hard work in dark, dusty rooms. Their task: to make the regents’ lives as pleasant as possible.

The Schlosscard is valid in this monument. The Schlosscard is a booklet of tickets valid for selected monuments in Baden-Württemberg. These tickets are valid for one year, starting from the first visit.

<p>Please note:<br /> The garden show "Blühendes Barock Ludwigsburg" is operated by a separate company, the Blühendes Barock Gartenschau Ludwigsburg GmbH. This company operates independently of the State Palaces and Gardens of Baden-Württemberg. Therefore, during the season of the "Blühendes Barock Ludwigsburg" horticultural show, from mid-March to early November, the only free access to the Ludwigsburg Residence Palace and all the museums located therein is via Schlossstraße. At all other entrances, an admission ticket for the "Blühendes Barock" must be purchased or an admission ticket "Baroque Experience", which is valid for the Blühendes Barock and the Ludwigsburg Residenzschloss.</p>
